Still in S.F., California, for science fiction.

Taken in the SF area. Looks like science and fiction.
Off To Dance /
Swedish singer Fredrika Stahl's 4th album will be out in seven days at Sony Music.
I was asked to work on the pictures for the cover some weeks ago. Touching music, sympathic persons and great encounter.

Update: Nice paper in french Les Inrocks magazine about Fredrika Stahl's album.

Just teasing.

L'homme de Rio /
Steve McCurry for Victoire Magazine in Rio De Janeiro.
As one may have read it somewhere, the famous photoreporter shot the 2013 Pirelli Calendar and I was lucky enough to be sent in Rio for a 90 seconds "meet and shoot a portrait".
Before catching my flight back, I could meet Redemption, but alas, it was in the myst.

Sidse Babett Knudsen for Le Monde /
Sidse Babett Knudsen is a danish actress staring in a danish TV show, which has gained quite some attention south of Danemark. She is certainly part of this success as she is really keen and charming.
FYI, the show is "Borgen", written by Adam Price, Jeppe Gjervig Gram and Tobias Lindholm
Intervention of the french make-up artist on the danish beauty in front of my belgium eye.

Comme à O. /
I went on a scouting errands on the North Sea border, few weeks ago. I hadn't been there since ever. At least! It's funny how things aren't even tainted by souvenirs. Except the smell from the sea.

I've always been curious about what you may find behind wallpapers. And always concerned about what one could do with it.

M le magazine du Monde /
My tuesday assignment, your saturday reading. I really enjoy that weekly press deadline stress, I used to miss.
Standard /
Returning visitors and vespa enthousiasts already know that thoses pages made the cover for Standard Magazine this summer. Now, watch out the road!

Venus Beach /
No pun intended. At least, I think so.
Summer Ink Drops /
If you happen to visit a serious news stand agent this summer, have a look at the fashion story I shot recently for Standard Magazine.
Here is an image from it.
And there is a "making of" pix as well:
Me, shot in action, adjusting a massive bell, in order to entertain my crew during a long day of work. Why a Bell? I don't know, but it sounded great.
Big thanks to my agent Joséphine who caught the scene on camera.
Per una selva oscura /
I used to enjoy quoting those verses from Dante a lot, years ago but gave them a rest. I bet a swimsuit fashion story could be a proper opportunity for some literaly italic quotes. You'll tell me.
“Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita/ mi ritrovai per una selva oscura/ ché la diritta via era smarrita”

As a present for you, my beloved reader, here is an amazing behind the brain/scene (very) short movie. Handle it with care as the stiches aren't yet fixed.
